Anne is a partner in Bird & Bird’s Competition & EU Law Group and the
managing partner of the firm’s Brussels office.
Anne has over 25 years of experience advising clients in all areas of
EU, German and international competition law. Her practice has a strong
focus on EU and multi-jurisdictional merger control proceedings and
cartel investigations. Moreover, she regularly advises clients on
data-related competition law questions as well as legal issues at the
intersection of competition and data protection law and is a regular
speaker on these topics. Industry sectors in which Anne has developed
particular expertise include automotive and electronics.
Anne is a member of the board of the German competition law association
(_Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht_). She is regularly listed as a
“frequently recommended” competition lawyer in the German directory
JUVE and as a leading practitioner in The International Who’s Who of
Competition Lawyers & Economists. She was featured in Global Competition
Review’s 100 « Women in Antitrust » survey and has been ranked as one of
the leading female competition lawyers in Belgium in the Euromoney Guide
to the World’s Leading Women in Business Law.
