FR – Thomas est reconnu pour sa capacité à intégrer les différentes disciplines et juridictions et à fournir des solutions pratiques à des problèmes complexes.
Thomas est collaborateur au sein des départements IP/IT et droit européen du cabinet de Bruxelles. Il assiste des clients sur des questions liées aux nouvelles technologies telles que l’intelligence artificielle, cloud computing, big data, open data et l’Internet des objets.
Thomas a étudié le droit aux universités de Leuven (KU Leuven), Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne) et Tilburg. En 2012, il a effectué une maitrise en relations internationales à la London School of Economics. En 2019, il défendra une thèse en droit des relations extérieures de l’UE à la KU Leuven.
Thomas a publié de nombreux articles dans les domaines du droit des relations extérieures de l’UE, du contentieux européen, ainsi que du droit du numérique.

Thomas is an associate in the IP/IT law and EU law departments of Bird & Bird’s Brussels office, where he advises clients on information and technology related-matters such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, open data and the Internet of Things.
Thomas studied law at the universities of Leuven (KU Leuven), Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and Tilburg. In 2012, he obtained a postgraduate degree in Global Politics at the London School of Economics. In 2019, he will defend his doctoral dissertation in the field of EU external relations law at KU Leuven.
Thomas has published widely, including in the areas of EU external relations law, EU procedural law and IT law.
