Séverine Dusollier

CV (FR) : Séverine Dusollier est docteur en droit et Professeure à SciencesPo Paris où elle dirige le Master de Droit Economique – Spécialisation Droit de l’Innovation. Elle fut Professeure à l’Université de Namur (2006-2014) et directrice du CRIDS (Centre de Recherches Information, Droit et Société) de 2010 à 2014. Elle a notamment effectué des recherches en droit d’auteur et en droits intellectuels pour l’OMPI, l’UNESCO, le Conseil de l’Europe et la Commission Européenne. Elle fut chercheuse associée à la Faculté de Droit de l’Université de Berkeley (Etats-Unis) en 2001, Jean Monnet Fellow à l’Institut Universitaire Européen de Florence en 2005-2006, Visiting Fellow à l’Université de Columbia (2011) et à la NYU (2017).

Elle est titulaire d’une bourse de recherche ERC sur la notion de droits inclusifs en propriété (2014-2019). Elle est membre du Comité exécutif de l’ATRIP (International Association of Teachers and Researchers in IP) et membre fondateur de l’European Copyright Society. Ses recherches actuelles portent sur le droit d’auteur dans l’environnement numétique, le concept et les pratiques d’authorship, les biens communs, le domaine public, les exceptions au droit d’auteur.

 

CV (EN): Severine Dusollier is Professor of Intellectual Property and Head of the Master in Innovation Law in the Law School of Sciences Po Paris. From 2006-2014, she was Professor at the University of Namur (Belgium) and the Director of the CRIDS (Research Centre in Information, Law and Society). Recognised as an academic expert in copyright, she has carried out research for international and EU institutions. She has been a Research Fellow at Berkeley University (2001), at the European University Institute of Florence (2005-2006), Visiting fellow at the University of Columbia (2011) and at the NYU (2017).

She is a founding member of the European Copyright Society and a member of the Executive Board of ATRIP. She is the holder of an ERC (European Research Council) research grant on commons and inclusivity in property. Her current research interests are digital issues of copyright, the concept of authorship, exceptions and limitations, commons and property, public domain.
