CV (FR) : Nicolas Binctin est Professeur agrégé des Facultés de Droit, il enseigne le droit des biens, le droit des affaires et le droit de la propriété intellectuelle au sein des universités de Poitiers, Paris II, et Paris 12 UPEC. Il est professeur invité de l’Académie de l’OAPI et de l’Université Bocconi de Milan. Il intervient dans de nombreux colloques en France comme à l’étranger. Il est le directeur du M2 Droit de la propriété intellectuelle de l’Université de Poitiers et le co-directeur du M2 Droit de la recherche et valorisation de l’innovation. Il codirige, avec Gerald Spindler, un groupe de travail, à l’initiative de la Fondation pour le droit continental, devant proposer un code européen de la propriété intellectuelle. Il a publié en 2007 sa thèse intitulée Le capital intellectuel chez Litec, collection Bibliothèque de droit de l’entreprise (tome 75) et un manuel intitulé Droit de la propriété intellectuelle, chez LGDJ, collection Manuel, dont la cinquième édition a été publiée en septembre 2018 et, en 2015, un ouvrage intitulé Stratégie d’entreprise et propriété intellectuelle chez Lextenso et participe à des publications collectives en France comme à l’étranger. Il tient la chronique Propriété industrielle du JCP E et la chronique Propriété intellectuelle du JCP G et la « Lettre de France » pour la RIDA. Il intervient auprès d’entreprises ou de cabinet d’avocats en qualité d’expert, de consultant ou d’arbitre.
CV (EN): Nicolas Binctin is Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Poitiers, where he manages a postgraduate program on Research and Innovation Development Law and a postgraduate program on IP Law. Nicolas Binctin teaches Business and Intellectual Property Law in its various components, in universities of Poitiers and Paris XII-UPEC, and at the School of Law and Management of the University Paris II Assas-Panthéon. He has been invited professor since 2015 by the Academy of Organisation Africaine de la propriété intellectuelle (OAPI) in Yaoundé, Cameroun, the Louvain La Neuve University, Belgium, and the Djibouti University, and visiting professor at Bocconi University. He is regulated invited for many conferences in France, Tunisia, Japan, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, and Switzerland and has been one of the French reporters for the Wien Congress of the International Academy of Comparative Law in 2014, a position that he will retake in 2018 fr the Fukuoka Congress, and for the ALAI Bonn Congress in 2015. Author of a thesis entitled Le capital intellectuel (published by LexisNexis in 2007), he has published many articles in French and English, a monography on Corporate strategy and IP, and the 5th edition of his Law book on French and European IP law has been published in September 2018 by Lextenso-LGDJ. He is the co-head of the working group for the codification of the EU IP law with Gerald Spindler that was launched by the Foundation for the Civil Law Initiative. He is expert or arbitror in different fields of IP law and Business Law.
