CV (EN): Benjamin Docquir practices as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2000. liability. Benjamin is an expert in privacy & data protection, cybersecurity and information technology law at large. He assists clients with the digital transformation of business processes and the mitigation of risks associated with information security and information management. He also has a significant experience litigating in the field of intellectual property, with a focus on copyright, databases, software and internet platforms. His practice covers advertising and consumer protection, and the cross-border aspects of e-commerce. He regularly assists national and international clients in structuring, drafting and negotiating IT contracts, outsourcing and other ICT or e-commerce related projects.
Benjamin has written extensively in the field of data protection, privacy, private international law and the application of intellectual property in the digital environment. He is an associate with the « Unité de droit économique » at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He regularly lectures and participates to seminars in his areas of expertise.
